When I was little, my mom(in my humble opinion, the best cook I know) would call me her “sweet boy.” Like I said, I grew up in the kitchen, but I didn’t start to bake until later in my life - that makes me sound 70...I’m 32. For the past few years I have been developing new recipes and reinventing some of my old family classics.SweetBoy was born out of a need to find purpose and connection in Los Angeles. In between auditions as an actor, I found myself baking for friends, therapy, and an added source of joy. In December 2019, I decided I was going to officially launch SweetBoy as a side business…cut to the middle of February and the world was in crisis. I decided to start baking full time in an effort to spread a little sweetness and indulge people’s dire need for some sense of comfort and community.My items are baked by me, hand delivered by me, with a lot of care & love.
